My very first road bike! I was so excited that I went for an hour run around town in -6C with a crazy wind. I am chilled to the bone now, but it was worth it.

Starting weight: 148.6

This is a scary number for me, it is getting incredibly close to my starting weight and it feels very far from my goal weight (which I did hit, and then gained from there). I will never see 165 again, I can’t do it.

I have the exercise thing all figured out, I am good at it. It is the diet part, I need to stick to eating things that are good for me. I need to stop eating good 90% of the day and then binging on the car ride home.

Yesterday was day one. I didn’t eat particularly well, but I also didn’t go over my calories. I ate a lot of air popped popcorn. I am still calling it a win. I am on a 1 day no bingeing streak.

So this is happening. I am hoping this is just what I need to get me out of this funk. Exercise has been good lately, nutrition has been nonexistent. I can do this!

DamNation. Almost time to turn on the lights!

And they’re still smiling!

These gals are so awesome! 50 miles and 11 hours into their 100mile ultra.

I started eating this morning and I haven’t stopped.

I want to kick myself at the moment. It’s times like these where I just want to scream “WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO YOURSELF?!”

Sigh.

I have all of the tools at my disposal and I don’t use them properly or I sabotage myself.

It’s frustrating.

Wow, this could have been me saying this because I think the same thing all the time. But I keep telling myself NEVER GIVE UP!

I do the same thing.
